| The English Bulldogge originated in England in the early part of 1700 or before. They were bred to participate in blood sports like bull baiting and bear baiting. England passed a law that prohibited bullbaiting. These dogs became nearly extinct. Today's Olde English Bulldogges is a recreation being part English Bulldog, American Bulldog, Pit Bull and Mastiff. The goal is to produce a genetically healthier Bulldogge. They should be free beathers, free breeders, and free whelpers. | I recently moved back to TEXAS after living on premises of SOUTHERN STAR KENNEL, in Collins Mississippi. I have furthered my knowledge in the OLDE ENGLISH BULLDOGGE .
